The IEI Industry & Education Excellence Summit & Awards 2026 will take place on 19 September 2026 at the SCOPE Convention Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The programme is scheduled to begin at 10:00 am, with this year’s summit centred on the theme “Engineering India’s Global Footprint: Technology, Talent and Trust.” The event will feature the 18th IEI Industry Excellence Awards and the 5th IEI Engineering Education Excellence Awards, acknowledging organisations and institutions across technical fields and education.
Among the organisations being honoured this year is EPICONS Consultants, which will receive the IEI Industry Excellence Award 2026, Platinum, in the category of Engineering Services and Consultancy. The award forms part of the 18th IEI Industry Excellence Awards, which acknowledge organizations for their contribution across various sectors.
Established in 1985, EPICONS Consultants Pvt. Ltd. is a Mumbai-based firm with expertise across structural design, project management, architectural and detail engineering, structural assessment, nondestructive testing, structural audits, repairs, rehabilitation, retrofitting, and design reviews. Over its more than 40 years of professional practice, the company has built a 160 member workforce, comprising 57 engineering graduates, 17 postgraduates, 25 diploma holders and 11 senior engineering and technical personnel.
EPICONS has also recorded steady business growth, with turnover rising from ₹22 crore in FY2023 24 to ₹26.60 crore in FY2025 26, reflecting the company’s expanding business operations during the period. Its work at the ground level reflects a 360 degree approach, encompassing its professional team, including female members, financial performance, knowledge sharing and industry outreach. The company conducted or sponsored 16 technical seminars, workshops and conferences over three years, while 956 people were trained in FY2025 26 through its technical initiatives.
Through its EPICONS Friends of Concrete platform, the organisation has contributed to knowledge sharing within the engineering fraternity through technical programmes and training sessions. Its CSR initiatives are undertaken in collaboration with We Need You Society, adding a social dimension to its professional activities. The company also reported 68.32% procurement from the MSME sector in FY2025 26 and maintained an e waste disposal system supported by certificates. Ahead of the awards ceremony, the IEI held a press conference on 17 September 2026 to present the IEI Industry & Education Excellence Summit & Awards 2026. The press conference was addressed by Dr. Ranga Reddy Enti, Chairman, IEI Awards; Er. Naresh Bana, Council Member, IEI; and Er. Satpal Singh, Chairman, Delhi State Centre, IEI. The speakers discussed the upcoming summit and the role of the awards in acknowledging industry, innovation, leadership and engineering education.
The awards ceremony will be held under the leadership of Er. Ashwani Lohani, Jury Board Head, with Dr. Ranga Reddy Enti serving as Chairman of IEI Awards 2026. The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the knowledge partner for the summit.
